3. Visit the extensive network of Cu Chi Tunnels

Located about 70 kilometres northwest of Ho Chi Minh city, Cu Chi Tunnels is an amazing getaway where tourists, especially veterans and history buffs, explore about the underground life of local Vietnamese during the wartime against the French and the American. The attraction is a marvellous complex of more than 120 km of underground tunnels served as hospitals, hideouts, kitchens, storage facilities, and command centres, etc. Touring to the place, visitors will watch a short film of the tunnels before experiencing a small section of the system which has been cemented and widened.
