DAY 1: Hanoi Arrival.Overnight in Hanoi
Pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel in Hanoi.
Take a cyclo tour to see Hanoi old quarter,walking along Hoan Kiem Lake to get sense of Hanoi, then enjoy unique Water Puppet Show.
Overnight in 3 star hotel in Hanoi Center.
DAY 2 : Hanoi day tour to Hoa Lu & Tam Coc.Overnight in Hanoi (B/L)
8:30am: Tour guide picks you up at the hotel and depart to Ninh Binh province. On half way, you take a short break 20 minutes for refreshments and shopping. You will have an opportunity to experience Vietnamese handicraft products such as lacquer wares, paintings, and embroideries. Arrive in Ninh Binh around 10:30am. Stop at Hoa Lu ancient citadel built in the 10th century to visit temples of two dynasties Dinh and Le with unique architecture in the old time. After that, you will be off to visit the excavation area beside Le temple. Here you can witness the vestiges of Royal Palaces ground dated back 10th Century. Then back to the bus and go to Tam Coc.Have lunch in a local restaurant

14:00 pm: You will take a sampan rowing boat trip (2 people share a boat) at Tam Coc habour for Tam Coc exploration.You will travel along the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves (Hang Ca – First Cave, Hang Hai – Second Cave, Hang Ba – Third Cave) to get strange feelings. Boat returns to the dock for bus drive back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 6:00 – 6:30pm. Overnight in hotel in Hanoi
DAY 3: Hanoi transfer to vsit Halong bay.Overnight on Halong bay cruise(B/L/D)
Breakfast at your hotel. 8.00am: pick you up in Hanoi. It takes 3,5 hours to travel to Ha Long city by bus. There will be a 20 minute break on the way for refreshments and shopping.
12:00pm – 12:15pm: upon arriving in Ha Long, you board Halong Bay Cruise.Get a cruise briefing, enjoy welcomed drinks and check-in your traditional style cabin. Have Vietnamese lunch while passing Fighting Cocks rock. Next, visit Sung Sot cave with amazing stalactites and stalagmites for 45 minutes. Then you can kayak to discover mysterious beauty of Ha Long. Get back the boat to have a shower and seafood dinner. There will be squid fishing and karaoke singing at night.

DAY 4: Halong Bay cruise & transfer to Hanoi.Overnight in Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast, visit Ti Top Island about one hour, an ideal place for swimming, sunbathing. If you wish to experience new feeling, start hiking up to the top. Then transfer back on the Halong Bay Cruise to relax on the top deck for sunbathing and photo hunting. We finish cruising at 11:45am. The bus will transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch. Return to Hanoi. Arrive back your hotels about 5:30pm.

DAY 5 : North Vietnam Tour to Sapa, visit Cat Cat Village.Overnight in Sapa (B/L)
7h00 am : Pick you up at the hotel and take 5 hour bus drive to Sapa.Arrive in Sapa at 12h30.Have a lunch in a local restaurant.Check in your hotel.
In the afternoon,our guide will take you to Cat Cat with a visit of two villages of Black H’mong, a waterfall and you have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French ( This activity take 2 hours walking up and down to the valley ) . Back to Sapa for own exploration of Sapa town and local markets.Overnight in Sapa hotel.
DAY 6: Sapa trekking tour to Lao Chai &Ta Van village.Overnight in Sapa(B/L)
Enjoy breakfast at hotel.
8h30 am,our guide pick you up for a wonderful trek from our hotel to the villages of the H’mong and Dzay called Lao Chai and Ta Van ( about 10m trek). Have lunch on the way or in a family of the ethnic people.When you finish the trekking trip at the end of the village, our bus will pick up to the hotel ). Return to hotel,relax and shopping in Sapa.

Day 7 : Sapa tour to Bac Ha Market – Hanoi (B,L)
Have breakfast at the hotel then we check out the room.Our bus will pick us up to leave Sapa for Bac Ha Market ( a Sunday weekly market).Bac Ha is the largest market in the area, situated inside the small town of Bac Ha. On every Sunday mornings, it is literally a riot of color as many different ethnic groups such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay, Nung minorities... gather to buy and sell. You will have time to explore the market where ethnic people sale homebade wares raging from embroidery, tobacco and rice wine to farmyard animals such as chickens, pigs, horses and buffaloes. After spending the whole morning in the market,then continue to visit the Hoang A Tuong Palace, a mix architecture of a fort and residence during French period.Have lunch at local restaurant then return to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 6:00-07:00pm. Overnight in Hanoi
DAY 8 : Hanoi city tour.Overnight in Hanoi (Breakfast/ Lunch)
8:30am: get picked up by our tour guide and bus then transfer to the center of Hanoi. Start the trip with a first place named Tran Quoc pagoda, Buddhist relics and national heritage which lies on the West Lake. Then we go to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived and worked from 1958 to 1969. and the One Pillar Pagoda, the one modeled after a lotus flower and it is considered a symbol of Hanoi city.
Although several Temples of Literature can be found throughout Vietnam, the most prominent and famous is that situated in the city of Hanoi, which also functioned as Vietnam's first university. The temple was first constructed in 1070 under King Lý Nhân Tông and is dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars. It is a vast structure that has existed to present day.
12:00pm: We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
13:00pm: We will explore the colourful features of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam in the Ethnology museum. Then we drive back to legendary Hoan Kiem lake for a walking to discover Hanoi old quarter. Then back to your hotel

Day 9 : Hanoi transfer to Noi Bai airport (B)

I tried to write you a letter several times, but I couldn't finish the letter. I don't know why.
I am still in winter vacation, so I have been very lazy, frankly speaking. And I miss you and the other good people I met in Vietnam. You cannot imagine how much it is!! As for our meeting, let's put it aside for my next trip, possibly that would be the coming August. At that time, we can have time to talk a lot about Vietnamese school system and other interesting things. Don't you think??

Hello Mr Ban, What a surprise to hear from you and a good one. yes I do remember you quite well....as Black Dan? Is this right? It has been 5 years since I was in your country. a long time, but I remember how bright and funny you were and also how polite!!! So, have you a family to look after now? A wife and some beautiful children? I hope all is well with you and you have plenty of work to do. I am taking a break at my work as it is Christmas time here and everything stops and family get together. I know you have TET around the corner and I wish you much success and good fortune for the next year. Which animal will it be next year for TET, I wonder? And which year you born in? I am still working with flowers. Iam known as a florist and my job keeps me pretty busy. I enjoy it very much as I love to make beautiful things from flowers and stones, dried things from Mother Nature and sometimes with man made stuff as well. It is quite funny that you emailed me at this time as I have been thinking of coming over to Vietnam alot lately and may do next year sometime.
