2.By railway

In a day, there are many trains departing from Hanoi or from Ho Ch Minh city bypassing Dong Hoi city – Quang Binh province.As the result, transfer by trains to Quang Binh is a popular choice among travellers because of its safety & resonable prices.

If starting from Hanoi to Quang Binh ( 522km) and it will take 10 hours to reach the destination.The train will stop in Dong Hoi railway station with the fare cost ( AC soft sleeper berth) of 600.000 vnd (30usd), and the AC soft-seat fare of 300,000 vnd (15usd).For the view of the country, you can choose a day train from Hanoi, for the time saving, you can book a night train with comfortable AC soft-sleeper berth and just a night sleeping on train, you will reach Quang Binh already.

If you start from Ho Chi Minh city ( Sai Gon), Da Nang or other cities in Vietnam, you can contact local railway stations to know the right information of the train’s schedules, the fare prices, the timetables of departure to & arrival in Dong Hoi city.

3.By road.

If your trip is from Hanoi city, you can choose the buses routing Hanoi to Quang Binh, the cost is ranging from 180,000 vnd to 200,000 vnd ( 10usd) on normal days. If on holidays, the cost could be a little bit higher. You can have reference of following bus companies :

If your journey is from Ho Chi Minh city, you can choose the bus route Ho Chi Minh city to Quang Binh with the following bus companies, the bus fare is arond 550,000 vnd to 660,000 vnd
