Travel Itinerary : 5 Day Bac Ha Market – Sapa – Mu Cang Chai Tour Package

Day 1. Hanoi transfer to Bac Ha region, trekking tour to visit Ban Pho village.Overnight in Bac Ha (L,D)

Early morning, our private car & guide pick your group up at the hotel & drive on Hanoi – Lao Cai highway to the highlands of Bac Ha. Nice sceneries of rice fields,villages in Red Rver delta, valleys & mountains you can capture on the way. At noon, arrive in Bac Ha town & have a lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, start a nice trek to visit Ban Pho village of local Flower H’Mong, witness their daily life & their famous business of making corn wines, try some tatse if you like. Dinner & overnight in Bac Ha hotel.

Day 2.Morning tour to visit Bac Ha market – transfer to Sapa. Overnight in Sapa (B,L)

Enjoy your fresh-air morning with breakfast and view local ethnics in their colorful dresses happily heading to Bac Ha market – the biggest market of local ethnics in Sapa – Bac Ha highlands. Have a full morning exploring this market for a great sense of local tribal communities, their typical items exchanged in this trade fair : vegetables, clothes… chickens & buffaloes on its full play ( between 9h00  a.m & 11h00 am)

Try some local dishes or buy the items that you like, then meet our driver for a 3 hour transfer to Sapa. Check –in the hotel & free at leisure to explore Sapa town.

Day 3.Morning Sapa trekking tour to Lao Chai & Ta Van village, Silver waterfall, Heavenly Gate & transfer to Mu Cang Chai. Homestay in Mu Cang Chai (B, L,D)

After breakfast, you have a morning hike down Muong Hoa valley to visit Y Linh Ho & Lao Chai villages.This trek offers us a wonderful captivation of Sapa’s beauty : mountains, rivers, rice terraces & local villages of Black H’Mong. Getting to know their unique lifestyles, traditional dress weaving & farming activities.

Back to Sapa for lunch, then transfer to Mu Cang Chai in the afternoon. On the way, you have chances to visit Silver Waterfall, Tram Ton Heaven Gate , and certain stops between for impressive outlooks of beautiful mountains & valleys.

Day 4. Mu Cang Chai trekking tour to visit Che Cu Nha & La Pan Tan villages. Homestay overnight in Nghia Lo (B, L,D)

Mu Cang Chai trekking full day with off-beaten-path trekking routes along dirt trails to Che Cu Nha & La Pan Tan– the places with the most breathtaking rice terraces in Mu Cang Chai, which was recognized as the national heritage in 2007.

Morning trekking of 8kms up & down along the mountainsides to visit remote villages in Cu Che Nha communes & have wonderful overview of different layers of stepped rice fields, local farming activities & local daily life.

Get picked up on the way for lunch, then continue another trek of  6 km to La Pan Tan commune for the most picturesque photos of rice terraces in Mu Cang Chai ( Mam Xoi hills – the iconic beauty of Mu Cang Chai )

In the afternoon, drive past Khau Pha Pass– the four most imposing passes in Northeast Vietnam to Nghia Lo town.

Day 5.Morning biking ride to visit Nghia Lo valley, transfer back to Hanoi (B, L)

Breakfast served at homestay with pancake & hot coffee, then full morning bike ride with ourguide around Muong Lo valley, more exposal to pristine landscapes of paddy fields & mountain, and more chances to interact with local Thai tribe in the region.
