The detailed itinerary of 3 day intensive Ninh Binh exploration tour

Day 1 : Hanoi-Ninh Binh, hiking in Cuc Phuong garden.Overnight in Cuc Phuong national Park ( L, B)

Our tourguide & private car with driver will pick you up at your hotel for a nice journey to discover the beautiful attractions in Ninh Binh. After 2,5 hour drive, we arrive in Cuc Phuong national park, the oldest one in Vietnam, which is rich in its fauna & flora.Firstly, paying a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, where you can capture snapshots of some rarest primate species in the world.It is interesting to view beautiful langurs in their nice colors, the process they are taken care of, then be released back to nature.

After the lunch in the national park’s restaurant, we drive 20km deep into the core area of the park for a pleasant 7 km trekking route up & down the steps to visit huge trees & plants in the protected area of this tropical forest.After the trek, we will explore the cave of ancient man, where was founded the vestiges of pre-historic man with their graves & ancient tools.

Day 2: Ninh Binh trip to Bai Dinh Pagoda, cyclying around the villages & visit Mua cave ( B, L)

You will start your day with nice songs of many birds in a fresh & quiet morning in the national park.After breakfast, we transfer to Bai Dinh Pagoda – the biggest pagoda in ASEAN. Here you will spend time visiting new Bai Dinh pagoda and ancient Bai Dinh pagoda.You may feel amazed  to experience New Bai Dinh Pagoda strikkingly massive in scales & nicely architectural designs,which has broken down many normal records: its great size, the biggest Buddha statutes in gold-plated copper material,  the longest corridors of 500 Arhat statutes….

After the whole morning exploring massive Bai Dinh temples, we are heading to Tam Coc area for a lunch in local restaurant. Then, check-in the hotel.

In the afternoon, we have a leisurely biking trip along the limestone outcrops in Tam Coc area, passing by local villages, then stop in Mua Cave for a light trek with steps to Ngoa Long mountain for stunning panoramic view of Tam Coc region & Ninh Binh city.What an picturesque lanscapes of Tam Coc, Ninh Binh if you trek to Mua Cave between late April and early May ( the time when the ricefields in Tam Coc turn from green to yellow colors).

Day 3: Ninh Binh visit to Tam Coc caves, Hoa Lu ancient capital, Van Long nature reserve - Hanoi ( B, L)

After the breakfast, we spend time exploring Tam Coc in a pleasant boat tour for wonderful view of  three hidden tunnel caves;pristine natural scenery of forested limestone mountains, rivers; authentic farming activities of locals in the morning to avoid the big crowd of tourists heading here from Hanoi.

Following the nice & pleasant boat trip in Tam Coc, we transfer to Hoa Lu ancient capital, visiting two temples, the first one dedicated to the king Dinh Tien Hoang & his family, the other one for worshiping the king Le Dai Hanh & his family.You will get to know Vietnam’s history in the 10^th,11^th century when Hoa Lu was chosen as the capital of our country

Thereafter having a lunch in a local restaurant, we will board a nice rowing boat tour to visit less touristic Van Long nature reserve , which is not only famous for its outstanding landscapes of mountains & grottos but also for its largest area of wetland reserve where is the home to a rich fauna and flora, famously the living place of the biggest number of Delacour’s langurs(one of the most endangered primates in the world).The boat rower will slowly paddle us along the river with impressive view of outstanding mountain ranges, the caves & thousand kinds of birds, herons… flying around.If lucky enough , you can catch the sight of Delacour’s langurs strolling naturally in the forested mountains.

Saying goodbye to the boat rower, we meet our driver for the drive back to Hanoi.The end of 3 day Intensive Ninh Binh Exploration Tour  to Cuc Phuong national park, Bai Dinh pagoda, Tam Coc caves, Mua cave, Hoa Lu capital & Van Long nature reserve.
