Pu Luong Adventure : Trekking Through Valleys, Mountains & Local Villages

8:00 AM, Our private car and guide will pick you up from your hotel, and we’ll set off towards Pu Luong Nature Reserve. This journey covers 180 km and takes approximately five hours, with a scheduled lunch stop along the way.

Upon reaching Co Lung commune, we will take part in a 2-hour walk through Thai villages. You’ll be captivated by the numerous traditional water-wheels, a distinctive cultural feature of the Thai and Muong people in the reserve, used to channel water for their farming activities

Next, we’ll arrive at Hieu Hamlet, the most picturesque and remote village in Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Here, you’ll trek along a stunning waterfall to reach a stilt house for an overnight homestay. As you trek, you’ll be fascinated by the breathtaking views of terraced rice paddies & Hieu waterfall stretching across the mountains

In the evening, you’ll savor a dinner of local specialties and stay overnight in a traditional Black Thai stilt house, offering wonderful views from the windows.

Start your day with an early wake-up to experience the tranquil charm of a rural village, greeted by the rooster’s crow, fresh mountain air, and stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

After breakfast, we’ll descend a short hike down the hills to the meeting point, where our driver will be waiting to transfer us to Pho Doan town. From there, we’ll begin a 3-hour trek along mountain trails starting from Uoi village, crossing through the forest to reach Kho Muong hamlet. Nestled in a wild valley at the heart of Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Kho Muong is surrounded by lush, primeval jungles and is home to 60 households with 300 Black Thai residents.
