Your first day is to Cuc Phuong National Park, the oldest nature reserve in Vietnam, rich in fauna & flora,where could find the natural beauty of primary tropical forests between majestic limestone mountains, valleys & dotted caves.Aslo you can observe such critically endangered primates of the world red book as Delacour’s langurs, Hating langurs, Cat Ba langurs…  rescued here with a nice visit to Endangered Primates Rescue Center. Your night of basic accomodation in national park or homestay in Muong ethnic village is also a highlight for breathing in fresh & clean air and waking up with songs of birds singing nicely in the morning.

Natural beauty of Tam Coc

Your second day is to Tam Coc (also called Halong Bay on land ) in one hour drive from Cuc Phuong National Park for a morning rowing boat trip to enjoy the picturesque limestone mountains setting along Ngo Dong rivers with nice rice fields on both of its sides and to view beautiful caves ( three caves) of sparkling stalactites hanging down from the ceiling.It is nice to do in the morning when many tourists from Hanoi do not arrive yet, just you with sound of paddles rowing and prestine natures of mountains and rice fileds.

After stunning Tam Coc (three caves), we do a short bike of 4km round trip along majestic mountain background to Bich Dong Pagoda ( regarded as the second nicest cave in Vietnam),trekking up to pray Buddha & enjoy the panoramic view of whole regions.Also, your trip is to Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam, visiting two remain temples (Dinh Temple & Le Temple) dedicated to Dinh and Le dynasties.Great information of Vietnam’s history you can get from our experienced guide talking about Hoa Lu’s 42 year old history setting up as the capital of Vietnam.
