Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Tay Thien, Scenic Hike to Tay Thien Pagoda Complex - Tam Dao town. Overnight in 3* Hotel Tam Dao (L)
08:00: Our friendly driver and knowledgeable tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or private address. As we depart for Tay Thien, immerse yourself in the beauty of the Vietnamese rural area, adorned with lush paddy fields, flowing rivers, and majestic mountains.
10:30: Upon reaching Tay Thien Complex, you will start a scenic hike (6 km – in 3.5 hour hike) on trails & steps along local villages & forest to reach the main temple : Tay Thien temple, located in Thach Ban peak – the second highest point at 1388 metter among Tam Dao mountain range.
During the hike, you can stop to visit Thong temple, Co temple, Cau temple, Tay Thien temple & pagoda as well as Fairy Chess board – chances to get sense of Vietnamese’s belief & religions. The hike also brings you a wonderful journey to admire magnificient landscapes of mountains, tropical forest, streams & waterfalls..
14:00: Late lunch will be served in a local restaurant right at Tay Thien pagoda complex
15:00. Take the cable car down – which offers you opportunities to captivate parnoramic view of the region & save your time to continue the journey to Tam Dao town.
15:30. Drive up to Tam Dao, known as another Sapa in Northern Vietnam with pleasant climate around the year
16:30. Check into your hotel, refresh, and be free at leisure to enjoy Tam Dao’s beautiful landscapes.

Day 2: Tam Dao Exploration - Hanoi (B,L)
Early Morning: Wake up to the serene atmosphere of Tam Dao and take a leisurely walk around the town. Capture snapshots of the local daily life, surrounded by the fresh mountain air.
08:00: Indulge in a hearty breakfast at your hotel to energize yourself for the day’s activities.
08:30 : Stroll through the charming town, visit Tam Dao Stone Church, and capture panoramic views of Tam Dao town from elevated vantage points.
09:00. Visit Silver Waterfall & Check-in Quan Gio cafe with drinks (on your own account) & enjoy the mountain views from the cafe’s

10:00: Continue your walk & start hiking up 200 rock steps to reach Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple.
11:00: Return to the hotel for a well-deserved lunch at a local restaurant. Check out from your hotel, free on your own for shopping
14:00: Bidding farewell to Tam Dao & begin your journey back to Hanoi.
16:30: Arrive in Hanoi, and our team will transfer you back to your hotel or private address. It’s time to say goodbye, carrying with you the memories of a captivating exploration through the cultural and natural treasures of Vietnam.
