Travel Itinerary : 4 Day North Vietnam Tour to Halong bay, Bac Son valley & Ba Be lake

Day 1 : Hanoi – Halong bay, the paradise on earth.Overnight on Cruise (L, D)

8:00 AM, after your breakfast at the hotel, our tourguide & driver will pick you up for a 3.5 hour drive along the Red River Delta, through charming countrysides of Hai Duong, Bac Ninh & Quang Ninh province to Halong City. After checking-in your cabin in one of best selected Halong bay cruises, you will have a delicious lunch of seafoods, admire the majestic view of thousand of limestone islands erected on emerald sea water.

Halong bay cruise offers you great chances to enjoy the best attraction in Vietnam ( Halong Bay): cruise deep into the bay with nice activities of swimming on deserted beaches, visting Sung Sot Cave, trekking to Ti Top island for panoramic captivation of Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay & Cat Ba island, enjoying the sunset in Halong bay or kayaking to expore the bay’s scenery. Day 2 : Halong Bay tour – Bac Son valley.Homestay in Bac Son valley (B, L, D)

It is our suggestion to get up early for a peaceful view of the bay when the sun is rising up.

After breakfast at the restaurant, we will board a bamboo sampan sneaking through a hidden limestone tunnel called Luon cave, then a big pond inside, surrounded by mountains. Remember to bring a camara and some bananas to feed up some wild moneys living in the mountains while capturing a really peaceful and beautiful scenery.

Then, back to the cruise for more other stunning view of Halong Bay.

9:00 -10:00 AM, check out the cabin & enjoy our brunch while cruising back to the pier.

11: 00 AM, disembark Halong bay cruise at the habour where our driver is waiting for a transfer to Bac Son valley.

18: 00 PM, arrive at Quynh Son village, check in at Tay family’s homestay & be free at leisure.

19: 00 PM, dinner with local family & homestay in Bac Son valley

Day 3 : Morning Hike to Na Lay peak – Bac Son valley & transfer to Ba Be national park.Homestay in Ba Be lake ( B, L,D)

After breakfast, we will have a nice exploration of Bac Son valley – the green paradise surrounded by many forested mountains, also the home to some local ethnics such as Tay, Dao, Nung, who have been living here for generations.

Firstly, we take a short stroll around the village to get a closer look at a Tay ethnic’s village: their housestyles, schools & their daily life. Afterwards, you will do an adventure trek to conquer Na Lay peak for a great panorama of the whole Bac Son valley region.

Back to the homestay for a last meal with our friendly local host and transfer to Ba Be national park in the afternoon.Dinner & homestay in Pac Ngoi village.

Day 4.Boat ride to visit Ba Be lake’s attractions – transfer back to Hanoi ( B, L)

Ba Be lake & its national park is the most highlighted attraction in Bac Kan province, that you must pay your visit in Vietnam holidays.

Ba Be means three lakes including Pe Lam, Pe Lu and Pe Leng with its spreading length of over 8 km, its widest point of 3 km and at the level of 150 metters comparing to the sea level.

By doing a boat trip around the lake, you can get stunning view of the lake scenery with tropical rained forest on limestone mountain cliffs surrounding the lakes, Ba Goa island – a small islet in the middle of the lake, stop on the way to visit Fairy Pond or An Ma temple on the islands, listening the guide’s interesting stories about the local’s legends

You can get up early for a fresh air of the region or have stunning view of the sun rising above the lakes.

After breakfast, set off your exploration with a boat tour around Ba Be lake and Nang River. Between the cruise, you will stop to visit An Ma temple in the island, stop by Dau Dang waterfall– one of the highlights of the lake and Puong Cave– the largest cave in Ba Be National Park.

Around noon, our driver will pick us up at Puoc Lom harbour and transfer to Cho Ra town for lunch at a local restaurant.
