Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, 14 days is considered the “Golden Window” for a first-time visit. This timeframe allows for a seamless “North to South” journey, covering the major hubs of Hanoi, Sapa, and Halong Bay, while still providing enough time for the cultural highlights of Central Vietnam (Hue/Hoi An) and the tropical landscapes of the Mekong Delta and Phu Quoc Island.
This comprehensive tour includes five of Vietnam’s most prestigious UNESCO sites: Halong Bay (Natural Heritage), the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi, the Imperial City of Hue, Hoi An Ancient Town, and the Tam Coc in Ninh Binh. By visiting these, travelers gain a full perspective of Vietnam’s geological wonders and its 1,000-year dynastic history.
For the most consistent weather across all regions, we recommend booking between March and April or September and October. During these “shoulder seasons,” the North is pleasantly cool for trekking in Sapa, Central Vietnam is dry for beach time in Da Nang, and the South enjoys plenty of sunshine before the monsoon rains begin.
Yes, a major highlight of this trip is a full day at Ba Na Hills. Travelers will ride one of the world’s longest cable car systems to reach the famous Golden Bridge (Hand of the Gods). The itinerary allows ample time to photograph the bridge, explore the French Village, and visit the Linh Ung Pagoda, offering panoramic views of Da Nang’s coastline.
On Day 5, we transition from the mountains to the sea. You will board a 5-star La Casta Cruise for an overnight journey through Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. This “VIP” cruise experience includes kayaking in the Three Peaches area, a sunset party on the sundeck, and a four-season Jacuzzi, providing a luxurious break in the middle of your cross-country adventure.
The southern leg of the journey focuses on the dynamic history of Ho Chi Minh City. You will explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network used during the war, and visit the War Remnants Museum and Independence Palace. The trip also includes a day in the Mekong Delta (Ben Tre/My Tho) to experience traditional riverside life, coconut candy workshops, and rowing boat rides through narrow canals

Vietnam is a year-round destination, offering diverse weather patterns across its different regions. In general, spring (February to April) and autumn (September to December) are considered the most comfortable times to visit, thanks to pleasant temperatures, lower humidity, and less rainfall.
As Vietnam stretches over 1,600 km from north to south, the climate can vary greatly depending on where you travel:
- Northern Vietnam: Experiences four distinct seasons, with cool and sometimes chilly winters (December to February) and hot, humid summers (May to August).
- Central Vietnam: Usually enjoys warm weather, though the rainy season typically occurs between September and November.

This allows enough time for immigration clearance, baggage collection, customs procedures, terminal transfers, and possible flight delays.
