Absolutely. While the Ha Giang Loop is famous for its steep limestone peaks and hair-raising switchbacks, traveling with a professional driver from Golden Holiday Travel ensures maximum safety and comfort. Our drivers are experts in navigating the “M-shape” passes and fog-prone mountain roads, allowing you to focus entirely on the scenery and photography without the stress of driving a motorbike yourself.
Northeast Vietnam is a vibrant cultural mosaic. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to interact with the H’mong, Tay, Nung, and Dao ethnic groups. We visit authentic local markets like Dong Van or Meo Vac and stay in hand-picked homestays where you can witness traditional weaving, ancient stilt-house architecture, and the unique hospitality of the highland people.
For the best experience, we recommend visiting from September to November (the harvest season and buckwheat flower season) or from March to May (spring blossoms). To see Ban Gioc Waterfall at its most powerful, the late summer months (August) are ideal, though the autumn months offer the clearest blue water and comfortable trekking temperatures.
This tour is designed to be flexible. While the region is mountainous, the trekking portions can be adjusted to your fitness level. Most walks involve 1–3 hours of exploring villages and terraced fields. For those seeking a challenge, we can include longer treks in Cao Bang or the Nho Que River valley. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, our private car can bring you directly to the most scenic viewpoints.

Vietnam is a year-round destination, offering diverse weather patterns across its different regions. In general, spring (February to April) and autumn (September to December) are considered the most comfortable times to visit, thanks to pleasant temperatures, lower humidity, and less rainfall.
As Vietnam stretches over 1,600 km from north to south, the climate can vary greatly depending on where you travel:
- Northern Vietnam: Experiences four distinct seasons, with cool and sometimes chilly winters (December to February) and hot, humid summers (May to August).

If your journey includes a connecting domestic flight within Vietnam, please keep the following information in mind upon arrival:

This allows enough time for immigration clearance, baggage collection, customs procedures, terminal transfers, and possible flight delays.
