Itinerary
Travel Itinerary : 4 Day Hoang Su Phi, Bac Ha Market & Sapa Trekking Tour
Day 1 : Hanoi – Ban Luoc village.Homestay in Ban Luoc village (L,D)
Today is a long journey transfer Hanoi to Hoang Su Phi. It will take us at least 7-8 hour drive passing Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang & Ha Giang provinces on NR02 and head to Ban Luoc village in Hoang Su Phi district of Ha Giang province.
Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Ban Luoc village. One the way, stop in Tuyen Quang city for a lunch of Vietnamese dishes.Then continue on winding roads up & down along mountainsides with breathtaking landscapes – many stopping chances to admire and take great photos.
Arrive in Ban Luoc commune & start 1,5 hour trek along dirt trails to hilly & scenic Ban Luoc village – a stunning view of the rural village, their farming work & pristine rice terraces.
Check-in a local family homestay for relaxation.You can take part in cooking preparation with local host if you’d love to.
Dinner of local dishes and some happy water ( local wine) with the host’s family.
Relax & overnight in homestay.

Day 2 : Ban Luoc trekking tour, transfer to Bac Ha market.Homestay in Bac Ha town (B, L,D)
Ban Luoc village is on the slope of mountain, overviewing the valley & mountains with a waterfall peacefully running down day & night.
It will be great to wake up early to view the sunrise & far mountains with white clouds flying around , get a nice sense of local village as well as to witness children going to schools, farmers working on their farms..
After breakfast, we continue with more exploration of Ban Luoc village, trekking up mountainsides admiring more local houses on stilts, ancient tea plantation, terrific waterfalls & great captivation of impressive rice terraces – more picturesque photos you will have.
After the trek, meet driver & transfer to Vinh Quang town for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will have a bumpy but scenic drive along Coc Pai town, Gio pass to Bac Ha town.
Check in a local homestay & free at leisue to explore Bac Ha town & local village.
Dinner & spend night in homestay.

Rice Terraces in Ban Luoc village

Day 3 : Attend Bac Ha market & visit Hoang A Tuong Castle, transfer to Sapa with small trek to visit Lao Chai village.Homestay in Ta Van village (B,L,D)
Today is an interesting day for your exploration of Bac Ha market, the biggest market of hill tribes in Northern Mountain Vietnam.You will have chances to meet different ethnic groups on their own traditional dresses heading to Bac Ha market to exchange the local products, to find lovers or to meet friends……
After breakfast, you have a few hours to attend the market – great fun to see typical local items which are trading here : buffalo, goat, chicken, local traditional dresses, baskets….., you can join in drinking local corn wine or tasting local dishes…..
Proceed for a visit to Hoang A Tuong Castle buit in stones & woods with special architecture.You will get to know the influence of H’Mong people in this highland in the past.
Have a lunch on the way, then transfer to Sapa – the famous hill station built by French in early 20th century.
On arrival, we will embark on a light trek down Muong Hoa valley, visiting Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai villages of Black H’Mong ethnic & Ta Van village of Zay ethnic
Dinner & homestay in a local family of Dzay hill tribe in Ta Van village – the place for your great view of Muong Hoa valley & local rice terraces.

Bac Ha market – Hoang Su Phi Trek

Day 4 : Sapa trekking journey to visit Tan Van & Giang Ta Chai village , transfer back to Hanoi (B, L)
Today will be in a harder trek along the dirt trails passing a beautiful landscapes of rice terraced fields & bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai hamlet, the living place of Red Dzao ethnics who have colorful Red hankerchief with their unique lifestyles.

Breakfast at local homestay, then start a hard trek on buffalo trails with great view of local rice terraced cultivation & hidden bamboo forest to visit Giang Ta Chai village of local Red Dzao hill tribe.
After the trek, our private car with driver pick you up and transfer to Sapa town for lunch. Afternoon, you have some time free shopping in Sapa town before travelling back to Hanoi.The end of the trip when the car drops you back to the doorsteps of your hotel.
